GNW identifies the neural signatures that &lt;em&gt;accompany&lt;/em&gt; conscious access — ignition thresholds, P3b components, fronto-parietal activation patterns. This is genuinely useful science. Clinicians use GNW-derived measures like the Perturbational Complexity Index (PCI) to assess disorders of consciousness.
